Pikasso d’Or 2026: A Milestone Year for Out-of-Home Creativity

It is that time of year all agency heads and creatives eagerly await: the call from Pikasso. The one that announces a campaign has won, without revealing the colour of the trophy or the category, keeping the suspense alive until the big night.
The 2026 edition is especially memorable, marking the 30th anniversary of the Pikasso d’Or, a historic milestone for the region’s leading Out-of-Home award. This year’s program brought together the Lebanon and Iraq awards in a single ceremony headed by the chairman and CEO Antonio Vincenti under the patronage of the minister of industry M. Joe Issa El Khoury.
After seven challenging years, 2026 also stands out as a “nearly normal” year, with a tangible recovery in advertising investments. And when the business climate improves, creativity naturally follows more confident clients are willing to take bolder risks and support more ambitious ideas. This edition proved it, with a particularly strong selection of work, confirming that Lebanon is on the right path to reclaiming its former creative excellence.
The atmosphere of the evening, organized at Union Marks, was filled with both nostalgia and optimism and recalled the glamour of the great advertising nights of the 1990s and 2000s, bringing together 300 of the industry’s leading and young figures in a true celebration of creativity.
For the second consecutive year, the jury was chaired by Dino Burbidge, a recognized expert in digital creativity and media, and a passionate advocate of OOH and DOOH. A total of 89 visuals and videos, submitted by 25 agencies, competed across the following categories: Best Use of Billboards, Best Use of Supersize, Best Use of Mall Advertising, and Best Use of Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH). Awards from the Iraqi Chapter were also presented during the same ceremony.
The 2026 Grand Prix was awarded to TBWA\RAAD for the “Deek Duke” campaign, crowning a landmark anniversary edition worthy of the legacy and ambitions of the Pikasso d’Or.
The honourees of the Jordan Chapter will be celebrated during the 21st annual Awards Ceremony on Sunday 18 January at the Four Seasons Amman. Other Award Ceremonies will be organized in Jordan, Algiers and Dakar in April and in Bamako and Abidjan later this semester.
