Crowd Agency Launches in Sydney
November 30, 2020
Crowd, the global, independent creative agency, has confirmed that it will be opening Crowd Australia, based out of Sydney, with immediate effect. The new office will be led by Vinnie Romano, Crowd’s Global Chief Commercial Officer, with his remit covering Australia and the wider APAC region.
The Dubai-based creative agency is experiencing a period of significant expansion in its operations. The announcement follows Crowd’s September launch of Crowd Spain in Madrid and significant recruitment across their operations in the UK, US, Middle East and The Netherlands during 2020. Crowd Australia will be the 10th global location in the group’s portfolio.
Romano (ex Publicis, VCCP and BBDO), who founded and ran Sydney-based content creation and marketing automation agency Frizbee, will report to Crowd’s global CEO, Jamie Sergeant to maximise access to the group’s global talent pool to ensure that best practice and the finest digital and creative expertise is employed across the business and its clients.
Vinnie Romano, Crowd CCO, said:“The mix of insight-led data analysis, strategy and award-winning delivery has proven successful for Crowd’s clients around the world. Our unique content marketing offer both enhances the user experience and, crucially, drives demand. I’m confident that bringing our creative approach and work ethic here will be equally valued.”
“I’m excited about the opportunity of leading Crowd Australia’s offering. This is the first, crucial, stepping stone into the wider APAC region. I look forward to combining my local market knowledge with our global, creative and digital experience.”
Founded in 2012, Crowd is a global, creative agency with operations running from San Francisco to Sydney.
