MBC STUDIOS joins the 79th Cannes Film Festival and takes part in Marche Du Film, in France

MBC STUDIOS, in collaboration with the Arab Cinema Centre, will present a panel talk titled "Big Bets, Big Audiences! The Rise of Commercial Arab Productions," on May 14 at 11AM followed by a reception, at Plage des Palmes, Cannes La Croisette. The panel features Samar Arouk, Managing Director of MBC STUDIOS and Group Director of Production at MBC GROUP, along with Tarek Al-Ibrahim, Director of MBC1, MBC DRAMA and MBC SHAHID content (SVOD). The session also includes prominent Arab figures in the sector, such as Saudi director, writer and producer Hana Al-Omair, Tunisian actor, producer, and director Dhafer El-Abidine, Egyptian producer and writer Mohamed Hefzy, among others. The session will be moderated by Ali Jaafar, Head of Films and Global Series at MBC STUDIOS.

• Khairia Abu Laban, a Saudi Actress and a MBC TALENT, is joining a panel talk titled “Rising Forces: Arab Talent regionally and internationally” Saturday May 16, 12-1PM, at the Main Stage, Le Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes - presented by Marche Du Film and Arab Cinema Center. 

Also it is worth noting, Saudi Actors, Abdulrahman Nafea and Lama Abdulwahab from MBC TALENT are also joining and taking part in the 79th Cannes Film Festival.
