It’s done ! Omnicom Closes $13B IPG Deal

Nearly one year after announcing the agreement, Omnicom has now finalized its $13.5 billion acquisition of Interpublic Group, forming the world’s largest advertising and marketing holding company in terms of revenue and billings.
Under the all-stock deal, Omnicom shareholders will hold 60.6% of the merged entity, while IPG shareholders will retain 39.4%. Together, the two groups generated an estimated $26 billion in revenue in 2024. John Wren will continue as chairman and CEO, with Phil Angelastro remaining evp and CFO. Former IPG CEO Philippe Krakowsky and Daryl Simm will take on roles as co-presidents and COOs.
